Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University (DBBU) is a private university established in the year 2005 as Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology (DBIT). In the year 2021, it got university status by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university has been awarded the “Best Placement Engineering in Education Excellence” in Uttarakhand and “Best Placement and Academics” awards. The university is recognized by various bodies such as Pharmacy Council of India, Council of Architecture etc. The university has 9 schools and 3 institutions under its umbrella such as School of Engineering and Computing, School of Allied Sciences, School of Management and Commerce etc.

Scholarships @ DBUU Dehradun
Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University A scholarship of up to 25% (Per Year) on the tuition fees shall be awarded to the students who have their permanent address (DOMICILE) in Uttarakhand.
Scholarship Policy
- Scholarship seats are limited and will be awarded after the commencement of classes.
- The mentioned percentiles are only the eligibility to apply for a scholarship.
- Candidates securing the above percentages are required to fill out the UIT Application form.
- Without relevant academic scores, scholarship applications will not be considered.
- The final decision of granting a scholarship is with the scholarship committee. The management reserves the right to change the scholarship policy at their discretion.
Domicile Benefits
- DBUU dehradun has a provision for providing a 15% concession on the Tuition Fee for Uttarakhand domicile students on merit-cum-means basis, to be decided by the University subject to fulfillment of the following conditions by the student:
- The student’s gross annual family income should not be more than INR 8 lakhs. The student should possess necessary documents attesting this fact
- The student should be in possession of a valid ‘Sthai Niwas Praman Patra’/’Mool Nivas Praman Patra’/’Adhiwas Niwas Braman Patra’ from Uttarakhand state.
